Ceramic Cartridge Tap Valve 40mm Disk Extended Base

Replacement ceramic tap valve/cartridge for single lever style taps. This is a very common cartridge used in many modern caravan and domestic taps. The hot and cold water flow enters from the holes in the bottom of the valve and is mixed inside the cartridge to the correct temperature. Once the lever is fitted, it is lifted to start the water flow and turned left to increase the temperature or right to decrease.

If you have a leaking tap, constant water flowing or temprature problems, this could be all you need to solve your problem!! This cartridge is very easy to replace, once the head and cover ring is removed, it is secured in place by a single brass nut. The base of the valve has two lugs to keep it in the correct position.
